‘Tis the Season for Everything Pumpkin

DA and I have started an afternoon tea time tradition. It gives us a moment of quality time, since the baby is asleep! It is really nice and I would suggest all mothers to create a tea time whenever they can with their little one(s). Even better invite friends over for a tea time experience!

With this tea time, I have started to bake more so we have nice treats with a cup of tea. Also, with it being October and Pumpkin season, it was bound to happen, I made a pumpkin recipe. Pumpkin Bombs. Small bite sized pieces of goodness topped with a sprinkling of powdered sugar. For an extra goodness add chocolate chips!
Originally it was a scone recipe, but again I wanted something small to have for teatime with my little one. Scones are great for adults, and yes for kids, but I waned something small for her little hands.

Happy Tea Time!

It’s Beginning to Look Like Halloween.

It's beginning to look a lot like Halloween

I have slowly begun to decorate the house for Fall/Halloween. It is surprising how fast Halloween seems to becoming, I mean we haven’t even gotten our pumpkins to carve yet. In reality, what is making realize Halloween is almost here is that there are Christmas stuff already in the stores! Esh, let me enjoy Halloween and Thanksgiving first! Anyone else feeling like it is a little early for Christmas in general.

Update on October goals.

Halloween decorations all but carved pumpkins

Afternoon tea tradition  it is happening, thought we didn’t get to it today.

Watercolor as you can tell by the new header I did water color a little.

Girls’ wall project is started, but a will take a bit longer to do

Paint living room nope, and will not happen any time soon

Create a recipe or two they are done and ready to be posted

Clear yard for Fall/Winter done, though anyone with children knows that this does not last long

Sew something nope, not yet. I am not even sure what to sew

Goals for the week.

Bake recipes for the blog // Sew something // Pick some pumpkins and carve //

Write a post on the October Ipsy bag (?) //Keep up with Ballet workouts
